lcc@chinesestudy-lcc.com The Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) is a series of tests which aim to assess the non-native speakers’ capabilities of applying Chinese language in study, life and work. At present, LCC undertakes HSK tests at various levels including new HSK (level 1, level 2 and level 3) and HSK-BLCU ( elementary-intermediate, and advanced levels).
New HSK- Level 1Designed for learners who can understand and use some simple Chinese characters and sentences to communicate, and prepares them for continuing their Chinese studies; HSK (level 1) is targeted for examinees who have finished Chinese study for 1 semester (half a school year) at 2-3 sessions per week and master 150 basic words and related grammar.
New HSK- Level 2Designed for elementary learners who can use Chinese in a simple and direct manner, applying it in a basic fashion in their daily lives; HSK (level 2) is targeted for examinees who have fineshed Chinese study for 2 semesters ( 1 school year) at 2-3 sessions per week and master 300 basic words and related grammar.
New HSK- Level 3Designed for elementary-intermediate learners who can use Chinese to serve the demands of their personal lives, studies and work, and are capable of completing most of the communicative tasks they experience during their Chinese tour; HSK (level 3) is targeted for examinees who master 600 basic words and related grammar.
HSK (Elementary-intermediate)It aims for elementary and intermediate learners who have studied Modern Chinese for 400-2000 hours and have mastered 2000 to 5000 characters (commonly used characters of A, B and C) and grammar items (Group A, B and C).
HSK (Advanced)It aims for those who have studied Modern Chinese for over 3000 hours and have mastered 5000 to 8000 characters (commonly used characters of Group A, B, C and D ) and grammar items (Group A, B, C and D) .
C. TEST Oral TestThe Test of Practical Chinese (C. TEST) was newly launched by the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) Center of Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU). The C. TEST oral test is the first oral Chinese test in China in the true sense, aiming to examine non-native speakers’ ability of applying Chinese to communicate in their social activities and works. Through the C. Test oral test interview, two interviewers will provide the candidate a scientific and authoritative evaluation of his/her oral Chinese communicative ability applied in commercial, trade, cultural, educational and other international communication environments.
