The Test of Practical Chinese (C. TEST) was newly launched by the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) Center of Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU). The C. TEST oral test is the first oral Chinese test in China in the true sense, aiming to examine non-native speakers’ ability of applying Chinese to communicate in their social activities and works. Through the C. Test oral test interview, two interviewers will provide the candidate a scientific and authoritative evaluation of his/her oral Chinese communicative ability applied in commercial, trade, cultural, educational and other international communication environments.

Any non-native speaker who wishes to know his/her oral Chinese communicative ability or to obtain an authoritative certificate can take this test. The test sets no limits on age, gender, nationality, academic qualifications, status and other personal experience.

Focus on practical Chinese in daily life and work, with real and natural conversational scenes in the interview
A mutual communication between candidate and interviewers
Precise and scientific assessment with recording during the entire interview
Standard procedures, consisting of Warming up, Repeated Evaluation and Final Stage
Different-grade certificates issued to all candidates taking identical test according to their performance

The result of the test can be used as a reference for candidate’s oral Chinese communicative ability in his/her employment, selection and promotion.

Registration is received at any time, and test time is to be scheduled with at least eight registrations.
