Intermediate Chinese

Courses Course Description
Intermediate Chinese 1
100 hrs		 Master special Chinese sentence patterns and compound sentences based on elementary Chinese study, enlarge vocabulary, and improve listening and speaking capabilities and capability of expression in paragraphs. Capable of exchanging and socializing with people in daily life and work and on other social occasions. Gradual transition to using textbooks without pinyin.
Intermediate Chinese 2
100 hrs		 Targeted for learners who know vocabulary of 1500 words. Improve listening and speaking capabilities, master socializing items in daily life, study, work and social gatherings. Improve capability of expression in paragraphs, and improve reading capability.
Intermediate Chinese 3
100 hrs 		Targeted for learners who know vocabulary of 2000 words. Master the framework of Chinese articles and relatively complicated socializing items.
Chinese reading（including newspaper reading）
60 hrs		 Improve reading comprehension capability through reading various articles.
Intermediate Listening
60 hrs		 Rapidly improve listening level and improve feel for the language through training in various forms and of various contents.
HSK Elementary-intermediate level
60 hrs		 Specialized training on listening, grammar and reading targeted for students who have received 400 –2000 hours of formal study, know vocabulary of 2000-5000 words, and who plan to attend HSK test (elementary-intermediate).
HSK Pre-test tutoring
50 hrs		 Pre-test simulated training targeted for HSK tests at various levels.
Office Chinese
60 hrs		 (Special!) Improve language exchange capability on office-related occasions. Tailor-made for those who have completed study of everyday Chinese and hope to learn common expression in office-related exchanges. Use special textbooks compiled by LCC.
